Who We Are
Preplated is operated by BryteTech Solutions LLC. We provide preorder storefront software for cottage food businesses and small food sellers.
Information We Collect
We collect account information from sellers, including name, email, password hash, phone number, store settings, payment setup status, products, drops, and storefront content. When customers place orders or subscribe to notifications, we collect the information needed to fulfill that request, such as name, email, phone number, order details, pickup selection, and optional notes.
How We Use Information
We use this information to create and manage stores, process orders, send order confirmations, send seller alerts, provide customer support, prevent abuse, and improve reliability of the service.
Third-Party Services
We use service providers to operate Preplated, including Railway for hosting and database infrastructure, Cloudflare/R2 for DNS and file storage, AWS SES for email, Stripe for payments and seller payouts, and Telnyx for SMS messaging where enabled. These providers process information only as needed to deliver the service.
Payments
Card payments are handled by Stripe. Preplated does not store full card numbers. Stripe may collect payment, identity, tax, payout, and fraud-prevention information under its own terms and privacy policy.
SMS And Email
If you provide a phone number and subscribe to SMS notifications, you may receive order updates or drop announcements from the store you subscribed to. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out of SMS by replying STOP. Marketing emails include unsubscribe options when applicable.
California Privacy Rights
California residents may request access, correction, deletion, or information about how personal information is used. We do not sell personal information. To make a privacy request, contact us at hello@preplated.com.
Data Retention
We retain account, order, payment reference, and notification records as needed to operate stores, resolve disputes, meet legal obligations, and maintain business records. Sellers and customers may request deletion by contacting us.
Security
We use HTTPS, hashed passwords, environment-managed secrets, access controls, and provider security features to protect information. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
